HARZAND, the first 93,000m3 VLGC built by CSSC for PETREDEC was named and delivered. It’s the world's largest VLGC and adopts the 4th-generation patented line VS-Bow MK-IV, enabling excellent performance under full load, ballast and different liquid cargo loading conditions.

HARZAND is the first to apply the self-developed and innovative design of rudder bulb energy-saving device, making the ship's speed ahead of the international advanced level.

The capacity of the ship’s liquid cargo hold has been upgraded with a net weight increase of only 250 tons and the liquid tank can be lifted as a whole. Fuel endurance has reached 23,000 nautical miles and the levels of oil consumption and gas consumption are leading international standards.

Although HARZAND is the first vessel built in its type, the team still achieved many breakthroughs and set a new record-the gas carrier has achieved a 'three-in-one' sea trial. In the process of 'three-in-one' sea trial, the conventional sea trial, gas trial and gas test were completed in one go, meaning that the vessel is ready for operation upon delivery.
